right turn signal

Good Luck! Hope that that is all is wrong.

There are 3 wires running to the lamp socket:
a blue/white wire which is the hot feed for the T/S filament (Dark blue for right and Light blue for left)
a brown wire which is the live feed for the parking light filament which is a separate circuit direct from the underhood electrical center. (I can't work out from the wiring diagram if the DRLs can feed this circuit so I cant confirm my understanding)
a black wire which is the common ground.
The DRLs are fed in upstream and can't be inhibited at the lamp unit.
I had to mod my circuit for UK as front ambers are illegal here. I snipped the brown leaving just T/S at the lamp holder. The DRLs are still active at that point and are only inhibited once the relays are pulled and the jumper fitted.
I agree that if the T/S bulb is good (and if it operates occasionally chances are it is good) it could be the turn signal switch. It could also be the hazard switch.
I've digressed. For the OP:
Check the T/S bulb is good
Try using some electronics cleaner on the T/S switch to see if it improves. The contacts can become dirty and cause intermittent operation.
Try reselecting the turn switch vigorously a few times when you have the problem. Does it start working again?
Try reselecting the hazard switch vigorously a few times when you have the problem. Again, does it start working?
This should isolate which component is causing the problem. There are DIY fixes here on the Forum for all of these common faults
