Default HELP!! I dont know what else to do????

If you have read my posts over the last 5 weeks you would know that my 98 C5 has been suffering from the Reduced Engine Power 1518 code, I have done all of the following and got no results:
1)Cleaned all grounds under the hood
2)Replaced battery and terminal ends
3)Cleaned ignition switch like the write up said
4)Checked electrical plug connections to PCM and TACM and throttle body
5)Replaced TAC module with one from another car
6)Replaced throttle body from a 03 LS6 with all the sensors
7) Checked a reconnected the amp and wires

NOthing has worked, I took it over to my tuners house and while on the scanner with the engine off but key turned on, the TPS sensor on my OLD throttle body would jump from 7% to 15% for no reason. So I changed the throttle body out like I said above from a 03 Z06 with all of its sensors and it still flips the 1518 code!!! Im about to go crazy, I have never had a problem that has irritated me so badly that I think Im gonna have to take it to the stealership!!! If anyone can help... please give me a call 703-498-5124... thanks Steve Bowen.

With all the things accomplished on your car, may I suggest we start over..with the basics. Yes, you have the one code and message on the DIC. What precisely is the car doing now or not doing besides the obvious code issues? Does it start, idle normal? What is happening when the code appears? Assuming you've disconnected the battery in order to force an entire system reboot. Got the right voltage at the battery when the engine is off as opposed to when its on? 12.5 static and 13.8 to 14.3 while running?

Yes the battery has been replaced, when you put the key in and turn it to the ON position ( without starting) the reduced engine power code comes across the monitor, if I try to start it with that code on , it sets off other codes. But if I reset the 1518 code before trying to start the engine the car will start up and run fine WITHOUT flipping a single code. I can take it out and drive it without a code being flipped, BUT when you get out of the car and shut the door , and then immediately get back in and turn the key to the ON position it will flip the 1518 code.
I have taken the car and had the PCM cleared with a scan tool and it still comes back. What else do I do?

Not sure if you did a search and found any of Bill Curlee's electrical posts. Not sure if it will help but try PMing him and also read about the problems some have with the wires in the door acordian tubes. Don't remember all the causes but those wires have caused many problems. Hope it helps!

I agree!!! Check those door connections for a shorting wire. You might want to get an inside look at the ignition switch too.
