Default LS6 Intake Manifold Differences?

I notice the 2001-2002 LS1/LS6 intake manifolds have a different GM part number than the 2002+ LS1/LS6. Are there any physical differences?

First of all, there was no LS6 in the model year 2000. GM switched to the same type of intake manifold for the LS1 and LS6 in 2001. With the exception of the casting number, there is no appearance difference between a 2000 and 2001 manifold (installed). Off the car, you will notice a difference on the bottom of the intake. LS6 on the left. The most important difference is what you can't see, which is an increase in HP/TQ.

Actually what I really need to know is this; Are there any differences between a 2001 LS6 manifold and say, a 2004 LS6 intake manifold?
