How are you holding up the rear of the pipes? I had straight pipes on my 97 and had to build some brackets to hold them still otherwise they bounced around quite a bit when driving and put a strain on the flanges connecting them to the H Pipe. Afterwards, I added SuperTraps to them but they didn't cut the noise down all that much.

Good job... now you need to search for a set of 4.5" or 5" cannon tips to fill the void.

Cool 4 inch tips would make the look more aggressive Also like the black rear lower facia...

Those louvers act as a ramp for the exhaust flow. On the back side of the louver a low pressure area forms and the exhaust flow can enter the muffler. If they are installed the other way, they act as a scoop. Exhaust flow goes in easy but has to fight to get out thus making back pressure.
