Memory Setting Question
I am the only driver in my 2001.
I use only FOB #1
I have it set of Easy Exit - however, since I keep my seat in the furthest back position when driving it of course does not move when taking out the key.
My normal routine when exiting:
Turn car off
Open drivers door
Remove key
Remove Seat Belt
Close Door
Use FOB #1 to lock door
My normal routine when entering:
Unlock door with FBO #1
Get in car
Insert Ignition Key
Fasten Seat Belt (have to do this before closing door due to adding VE arm rest - makes it easier)
Close Door
Here is my question, when I close the door after entering the Memory 1 settings take effect (as one would expect), my steering wheel extends and my mirrors move slightly to position.
WHY DO THE MIRRORS NOT JUST STAY IN THE SAME POSITION ALL THE TIME? What setting are they defaulting to when I remove the key?

Try this....when you go to get out of the car, turn it off then immediately remove the key before opening the door. Same goes for entering. Open the door, close it, then put in the key.
