Other than than doing full bore brake checks occasionally, or spending 2hours pulling down the ABS unit to get to the motor wires, is there a simple way to turn on the ABS motor (other than a tech II of course)?
Can't we devise a way to tie into the motor relay switch, and just stick 12 Volts on it occasionally to keep the motor happy?
Thanks guys.
I did autocross a built '76 Honda Civic for a couple years (faaaaaart).
And built a 383 for the California state OSP champion Corvette.
But, I'm getting so old and slow, I'm starting to enjoy just cruising.
Back on the subject; after reviewing what little schematic info there was in the manual, I concluded one whould probably need to drill an access hole in the EBCM module and tie into the motor relay control.
Hmmm, now where was that snow? It's 80 in texas.

Any "washboard" section of roadway will do it. Most empty lots don't have that feature. Every time I experience a washboard and the wheels start the rapid up/down movement and I need to brake - even moderately - the ABS will kick in. Light braking, no; moderate to heavy, yes.
Well, you guys have me hooked now. Went out yesterday in the cool air; punched it in 2nd, and Traction Control came on for several seconds. Had so much fun I did it a bunch. I feel less guilty only ripping two tires - ha.
Funny thing; for the last couple years, when I would punch it, it would actually break loose pretty good, even get a bit sideways until I could back off. And the TC msg never came on. Now it's very controlable.
I wonder if my ABS motor being a bit sluggish was affecting it?
I have my Texas car trained - when it rains, it just refuses to start.
but, I guess I'm not too wimpy; I have 16K miles on my tires, and the rears are getting pretty thin.

I must agree I did this and it was fun, empty parking lot, i must have went 4 times, but on the last one, the lights stayed on (AH/TC) But since then, they have never came back
I will continue to do this 6 more times, and see what happens.
Very fun, I hope I dont shred my Eagle F1 new tires.
