Help with new mirror....paging C5 tech
I just bought my car but it doesn't have an electrochromic mirror. I forum member found one on Ebay and sent me the link. I ended up buying it for $60.00 (yeah, what a steal) I just received it but have no idea how to install it or if my car even has the plugs to accept the wiring harness plugs. Please help if anyone knows about this. I don't want to take it to the dealer just yet if I can do it myself. I have an '01 coupe.

Found the install on another forum. Can't seem to get the link to work.
One of the DIY lists has the install. I found it when I was looking to install one in my 2001. I haven't found a mirror yet, so I can't verify the install procedure.

I got a little help from a nother forum member. Installed new 'chromic mirror and it works great. If anyone wants to know how to do it takes about 10 minutes to to alter the old mirror plug wires to fit the new mirror plug. Thanks Carmen :cheers: Also, I got my mirror for $60.00. Hi,
I have the electrochromatic mirror in my 2000. Had the dealer install it. But it requires a special wire harness. The only one I know who sells it is Lovecars.com. I put mine in about a year ago. Maybe because yours is a 2001 it does not need it.
