Default Corvette is Getting Forgetful

I recently noticed that my 03 coupe is sort of forgetful in that the heads up display and MPG average are being reset versus maintaining memory when started up after sitting a few days. Haven't noticed any other issues as of yet...

It’s not a daily driver, but driven about three or four times a week.
Red Top battery voltage appears normal and cranks OK. Had A0 and A1U1064 LDCM/RDCM codes in history.

Any ideas why "she" is forgetful?

I posted a thread with these same exact symptoms a few weeks ago. It was the battery. New battery - DIC reverted back to normal operation. The cold weather is killing batteries right now. Go to AutoZone and they'll check your electrical system for free.

I agree. When the battery gets weak, when starting the car, the voltage threshold will drop below the minimum for the electronics, so simply put, it all reboots to the default settings. Buy a new battery and all will return to normal for you.

Default Yup!

One thing I have learned about these cars is that a new battery can be the panacea for a wide variety of electrical issues.
