Default Codes How do you erase

How do you erase codes ? I want to get the serive engine soon light .How do I do this ?

Hey Now:
To clear a code, just bring it up on the DIC and then hit reset. As far as your service engine light, I do not understand the guestion? :crazy: Hope this helps. :seeya

Put the DIC in code diagnostic mode as follows:

- Without starting the car, turn the key to the ON position.
- clear any warning messages (like Door Ajar) by hitting reset
- Go into diagnostic mode by holding down the Options button and hitting the Fuel button 4 times.
- Let the computer cycle through the codes until it says "Manual Diagnostics"
- Go to the codes that are set, and hold the reset button for about 2 seconds to clear the codes.

BTW, if you have the Service Engine Soon light on, not sure clearing codes will fix that.

By clearing the codes it should reset the "Service Engine Soon" light.
