Catless header install
I am getting ready to put on a set of long tube headers, removing the cats, and installing a MagnaFlow resonator/muffler x-pipe along with straight pipes. I have a couple of questions.
My car is a 98' A4. I will be reinstalling the rear O2's, and realize that they will not work properly, but on a '98 can I shut off? I have heard that the 98's do not have the same computer as the '99 and newer, so there are not as many options to tuning the car for the best possible efficiencies. Is this true? Lastly can I get a basic tune without the dyno, and what should I expect to pay in the SE Florida region?
I have future plans of a cam, and new rear, but would like to do this first, and do the rest later in the year.
