I'm looking to get a 2002 and up C5 and I want a Z06, but I want a hardtop convertible. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this or how much it would cost?
In that case you'll want to make a regular convertible then a couple places make hard tops for the convertibles, buy one of those and have it painted. IF you're looking for a targa top z06 that can be done as well. There's also GBVETTE (I think, I hope) that has a Targa convertible Fixed Roof.. (it's nuts)
It's all in what you want to spend. Carvaggio sells a targa kit, you could check on that for price, otherwise search Illmac77's threads: he did a whole writeup on making his Z06 a vert @ the vettebarn..
If you haven't bought yet, then you would be miles (and many dollars) ahead to buy a vert or targa. It's a lot cheaper and easier... to add Z06 bolt on parts than to hack the body, repaint, etc.

So this is purely an appearance thing? I mean, GM shaved weight off the Z06, and you want to put it right back on?
