Centerforce DFC Noise?
I had a 12" Centerforce DFC with an aluminum Fidanza flywheel installed this summer, replaced the pilot and throw-out bearing as well as the master and slave. After the initial break-in where the clutch engaged very close to the floor, everything basically feels like stock now, except for when it's cold outside. When I engage the clutch in 1st gear on cold mornings, or late in the day when the car has been sitting for awhile, I get this weird noise and slight vibration feel in the floorboard and shifter. The noise is kind of hard to describe, I wouldn't call it a grinding sound, but something close. Does this sound like clutch "chatter" that I've read so much about? Does anyone else with this set-up experience anything similar? Thanks for your help and suggestions.
