Vortex Owners...? about cleaning filter?
Can I clean the Breathless Filter that came with my Ram Air kit with the K&N cleaner and recharge kit?? I dont want to have to pay shipping if I can get K&N locally...with K&N doing as good as what Breathless is selling to clean their filters...plus shipping. Thanks

Absolutely, you can use the K&N cleaner..What I have been using is simple green to clean the filter and then use the K&N oil..Works great..

I have 2 filters, when I get the oil changed, I have the filter replaced, easy to do from under the car, I than clean the one from the car, and swap them the next oil change. I too use the K&N cleaner.
