I've got a question about air heat control. Is there a difference between version for corvette from 1999 and C5 Z06 from 2001 ?. Do you know if somebody has heat control system for C5 Z06 2001 for sale ?
Supposing yes, what would be the price ?

The two types of climate control systems are: Manual and Electronic.
If you have the manual system, you are blessed, in my opinion.
The electronic system is highly over rated and much more complex; with the added burden of more chances for developing problems.

Here's what I've learned about the Dual Climate Control model numbers;
97 = 09356081, 16256018 (Remanufactured)
98 = 09352181*1
98 - 99 = 16254311
00 – 01 = 10436062*2
02 = 09380441*2
00 – 04 = 10345293
Notes:
1 Part number 09352181 was superseded by part number 16254311.
2 Part numbers 10436062, 09380441 was superseded by part number 10345293.
I had a problem using the "wrong" model number, the LEDs would not turn off of the unit after I installed them. So began my oddesy of researching model numbers and compatablilty. Do yourself a favor an get the Model number that is correct for your year.
