No Start 2000 c-5
There are times ( and they are getting more frequent ) that the car goes into a no start mode. All electronics work but when the key is turned nothing happens. The owners manuel says if this happens to take key out and wait 3 minutes. The car will usually start . Sometimes I have to go 2 or 3 times thru this cycle.
Since it is in the owners manuel it seems that GM knew of this problem.

Ok, So first off, is the security light in the IP Cluster on steady or flashing? Do you hear a click in the passenger footwell when you turn the key to the start position? Does the solenoid make any sound at all? Is this an automatic or manual transmission? Have you pulled the codes?
