Curious to know on a M 12 6 sp., ( if a line loc is better on your braking system then not) when doing burnouts @ the strip? Thanks in advance. Where would be a good place to install the (activator button ?) , on shifter, ashtray, etc, etc. Could you accidently activate these units while going down the road? Sorry for so many questions.

yea dude someone lied to you! a line lock is 100 times better on your car not to mention easier for you. Using your brakes to hold you still during a burnout is horriable for your brakes and for your rear diff. I would spend the 200ish on a line lock if you plan on doing a good amount of burnouts.

Much easier on the rear brakes...the fronts are still holding the car. Rear diff is then free to spin with no rear brake loading.

Yup I agree. I accidentally did a clutch burnout once Never again with the line lock!
get it saves the clutch packs a little stress and it makes it a lot easier! i went with the cartek unit 2hr for me to install hooked it up backwards to the dist. brake block.
