Don't even waste your time. If you want to mod your car for yourself then fine. Make a plan of what you want and where you want to be and do it that way. Jokers like that come along everyday and it's not worth your time.. No matter how fast you make your car there is always somebody faster and it never ends. If your into that then great otherwise enjoy your amazing car as is.

Meh, he's full of it (yeah, old thread I know)

Our 2008 Mustang w/ CAI/tune (5-spd/3.31 gears) runs 13.3@104 on it's best day. Our 2004 C5 w/ Callaway Honker CAI/LG Pro headers and tune (auto/2.73 gears) runs 12.8@109 all day long. Both on stock tires.

Additionally, the vette is a punch and go trip while the Mustang is a handful to keep traction/get off the line in a decent manner.

First of all get proof of his time. Eve better just go to the track bone stock and give him a run. Likely with a good launch you should take him.

12.5 for me was easy, Blackwing, BFG DR's, B&M Ripper and bam 12.55...
Launching the C5 is the most difficult part.
