Are the aftermarket underdrive pulleys "drilled and tapped" so you can use a "steering wheel" type pulley puller, or will they not work? I've got to pull my to install a stock pulley this weekend to pin it, and although I haven't gotten under the car, it looks like some of the holes have threads in them (I don't remember which one I have)
I've been searching and reading for two weeks and tried to read every post I can find on this terrible ordeal, and the more I read, the more apprehensive I become. If I read much more about the problems with pulling the rack and the balancer, I may talk myself completely out of DOING IT!!
BOY I hope so
Hey: I read in one of the post where you could pull the rack in ten minutes......What are you doing Sat?
With air tools and a flare nut wrench it doesn't take long. It will take you 30 minutes the first time and half that the 2nd. Good luck. My SLP/Powerbond is threaded ofr a puller by the way.
