RC75 vs. RC87 surge tank cap?

RC75 vs. RC87 surge tank cap?
I just replaced my surge tank pressure cap and found the original 10296465 ACD # RC75 has been replaced with 25713160 ACD # RC87, 15psi vs. (now) 18psi. the two caps are not quite the same size (the new one's flange is a smaller O.D. and the cap itself is taller). I guess we are stuck with it, just wondering if anyone has had issues with the fitment or pressure of this replacement cap?

The 18lb cap has superceded the 15lb. I got mine awhile back from Fichtner Chev and didn't notice any difference in diameter.
