Friday morning I pulled out of my garage to go to work, and it was about 25 degrees outside. I got a few feet down the road and noticed a new wind noise. Looked up and my glass targa top had a crack right down the middle. The crack runs about half way through the top along the length of the car, and is wide enough to drop a dime through it.
There was no rock chips or previous cracks. I am amazed and I know it sounds stange, but I think the temperature change from hot to cold is all it took.
Has anyone ever heard of the factory glass tops doing this?
Anyone know of a good source to buy one or have one they would like to sell? I would buy either clear or silver if the price is right. I am having to drive my pickup until I can get it fixed
I turned in a claim on mine......totally different issue with mine.....and got a new one. Well, a refurbished one from the dealer.
I have a $0 comp ded so I didn't have to pay anything!!
