abs question
It's a 99 c5 manual trans I'm getting 2 codes from the traction control system. c1255 and c1276. checked and cleaned the grounds reset computer came right back. checked wires no shorts bad module? Just asking what you guys think don't wanna buy module if I don't have to expensive

1255 internal malfunction 1276 delivered torque signal circuit malfunction.. Did the 1276 set the 1255? check grounds number g101 and g108 check connectors of the ebtcm harness and socket.. if that aint it then the ecbtcm needs service... hope it aint that probably ground or wire based....good luck

DTC C1276 is Delivered Torque Signal Circuit Malfunction
....WERE THESE CODES you got followed by a "C" (current) or "H" (history)?..if history, you should try reseting/erasing them & see if they return...but, if current:
...I have a relatively helpful tutorial with photos that has to be emailed giving you all the things to check...but it appears you may need to have your EBTCM repaired...that also is covered in this. So, PM me your email address and I will send direct to you.

....WERE THESE CODES you got followed by a "C" (current) or "H" (history)?..if history, you should try reseting/erasing them & see if they return...but, if current:

Hello..
I have the same codes but the c1255 is history but the C1276 is present..
If I turn on the key without turn on the car, the lights of ABS, Engine, Traction etc goes on and off in about 2 o 3 seconds, BUT the ABS/Traction goes on again in about 3-4 seconds and the screen shows Service Control Traction/Service ABS, but if I turn on the car, the anouncements goes off and never show it again...
If I turn on the car inmediatelly when I Turn the key, the lights last 3-4 second to goes off but eventually goes off and dont show never the Service ABS/Traction issue!!!!!!
I notice this since the reprogram/Tuning of the PCM but that supposed dont have any conection!!
