Hi,
I have been looking at going to 3.90's or 4.10's. The plan is to buy the gears alone, get a used 3.15 diff and pay for a pro to do the gear setup. Who would you recommended for this work? I have heard that it takes some special tools and training.
Thanks for your help,
Steve
Re: New Gears+Old Diff, Who Does Setup? (Buckmaster)
Are you saying re-gear a 3.15 rearend? If so, I do not think it can be done, but I may wrong. I am sure others will chime in :D
You can have a 3.90 done at Breathless Performance, they also sell it with Severe Duty Output Shaft.
Remeber you get 10% of those prices, and they take your 3.15 core.

I know just the place that will do what you are talking about. It is More Perfomance Inc. The website is http://www.moreperformanceinc.com. Give them a call. The lador to overhaul the rear end is 400 and to put it in the corvette is 390. Hope this helps.
