fuel sender problem
TIA Jerry
You mentioned running techron, but is it the same gas you filled up with? The senders in these are VERY sensitive to the sulpher level in the fuel. If you do a search there are several threads on it. I had the same problem in CO and again in England because of cheaply manufactured fuel. A full tank of super from Shell/Exxon/Mobile/Texaco and a bottle of STP fuel injection sytem cleaner (white bottle, red label) did the trick for me. See if it doesn't rebound.
Also, have you reset the codes?
Good luck.
May take some time for the Techron PLUS to clean the deposits, if those deposits are heavy. Add Techron PLUS for at least three or four tank fillings if need be, before buying expensive parts & labor.
Techron PLUS is a quality product that should do the job of cleaning the deposits.
Adding Techron a couple of times a year should keep the deposits at bay.
Also reset the codes as advised in the above post.

See this related thread – (sometimes it takes time for the deposits to dissolve) be patient and allow time as I stated above
