hurting my motor????
Okay, who knows this: I drive most of the time not real aggressive. I use 5 and 6th gear a lot. At what RPMs am I being counter productive by bogging my motor? Am I doing real dammage by doing 50 in 5 or 6th gear? Is the skip shift, !CAGS hurting me, or am I reeally Okay? Thanks in advance.

I agree. I just recently installed the CAGS eliminator and I really like it. It is cheap and easy to install. I can't believe I waited this long to do it. :yesnod:

I try to keep my RPMs between 1300 and 1800 within town...whatever gear does that (be it 3rd, 4th or 5th) is what I maintain. Between 45 and 60 MPH I keep it in 5th... but once I hit 65-75 I drop it into 6th (overdrive). If I need the power...I'll downshift to 5th or 4th depending on my overall speed. Going from 6th to 4th can be tricky so be sure to push the shifter into the middle and let go...and then downshift into 4th to make sure you're not dropping it into 2nd.
