Going LS2
Currently running a C5-2K MN6 with 66cc AFR 205´s, comp cams 921 spring kit / push rods, yalla terra, G5X1, LG Pro, SLP oil pump, dual cam chain etc. On a standard LS1 manifold / LS1 throttel body(
). Instead of upgrading to a FAST 92 i decided to by an allmost NEW LS2-2007 complete engine to get some extra torq. Will move AFR´s, cam etc. to the LS2 block. Will end up with pretty much a new engine ! G5X1 will stay in because of SMOKE regulations that i probably will PASS with E85 gas and a special tune. Hoping for some real 430rwhp. I will probably at least port the LS2 throttel body.Questions:
- will my standards length pushrods be ok (7.400) ?
- can i user LS2 oil pump with 67-7000 rpm max ? LS2 engine is rated for 6500.
- LS7 lifters ?
Any other ideas ? Need some advice from you guys if i need to order eome parts.
