Default Electrical issues

'01 6-sp Conv. I have all the basics and, it seems, more. I have gone through:

Column lock recall, two different wiring harnesses, culminating in a CLB,

I am in the process of replacing the oil sensor and considering a relocation,

I have to replace the hazard switch (seen the posts on here),

I occasionally have to jiggle the driver side door wiring harness (still don't know how to perma fix this),

I have a dim HVAC display that I have yet to even research,

I just noticed my HUD gas display never moves (always reads full)--the cluster is accurate,

and now I just replaced the sun visors and somehow screwed something up because the vanity lights do not work and the main interiors do not work--the dim light for the clutch and the footwell lights all work.

That last one is the strangest, but I plan to pull off the mirrors and see if it's a bad connection, not too sure.

Nonetheless, I feel like I need to take out a second job and just take it in somewhere, but I am way too scared of other people screwing me. I have taken three trips to a dealer; one to get the car, one to get the first wiring harness and an estimate of 1k to determine the problem of jiggling the door harness (took it back home and looked on here), and the last was a tow for a second wiring harness (which started as them saying it was a bad BCM and actuator and a 2.5k estimate).

So, any suggestions for me?

you are on the same boat as me. There are lots of electrical gremlins that can happen to these cars.

I would say take that list, prioritize it and knock them out one at a time. I found myself having to do that, I try to fix at least one or two a week; doing research on the problem in the meantime. Worked on cars alot, but the vette is a different animal, and this is my first!

Most are relatively easy repairs or ground issues. Last weekend was an ignition switch overhaul; before that was grounds. Next weekend is a window motor and A/C and I will be set. Prioritize, pay attention to detail and search up on here. This board is full of people that will help you out
