Will some stock C6 coupe rims with stock size tires fit onto my C5 coupe? I have read different people say different things and have also read about spacers needed. I would like to buy a set of C6 rims from another forum member but don't want to have them shipped here and not fit.
I'm running '08 chromed split spokes with '08 stock super car tires. I've run them with and without 1/4" spacers, no problem either way. Some have had to add spacers. On '02 convertible. HTH
I have a '99 Coupe, that just had massive mods done.
I tubbed and widened the rear quarter panels, kept the fenders stock. I am running C6 ZO6 wheels and tires. (I will show what I did to the engine on another thread).
I have a 97' coupe and want to put the Stock C6 wheels too, but I'm not sure if they'll go right on since my stock wheels are 17s on front and 18s on back. And I believe that the C6 wheels are 18s on front and 19s on back. If they dont what spacers do I need? Thanks

The 18" front and 19" back C6 wheels will probably fit on your 97'. The fit on the rear wheels is rather close to the inner wheel well and some cars require the use of a 5mm or 1/4 inch spacer. However, most C5 can get by without it. I didn't need the spacers on my 99'.
