Default Disconnecting the console accessory socket...help!

I've removed the traction control switch/cover and have access to the back of the accessory socket but cannot for the life of me figure out how to disconnect the wiring harness from the socket. I've poked and prodded, tweaked and twisted the connector but I can't get it apart. Obviously there is a secret solution of which I am not aware! Help, anyone?

It's been more than a year since I removed mine, but as I recall, it was a minor pita. I remember there being a small, rather stiff tab on the side of the connector that you have to lift up so that the corresponding lump in the socket can pass under as the connector is removed from the socket.
