Need help I just installed a new Halltech Venom on the 02, now the problem the hood wont close right, the passenger side closes fine but the drivers side wont close, unless I press down hard on the hood. I dont want to break anything so what do I need to do I followed the instructions to the tee from southerncarparts web site.
Had the same problem on mine. Just loosened up the hose clamp closest to the throttle body, shut the hood so it pushes the intake down a little, retighten the hose clamp. Just make sure when you tighten it back down that it's not at so much of an angle that air leaks around the T/B end of air bridge. I know it's frustrating.

It is still doing the same thing im going out of my mind
The same issue can arise when installing the Halltech Stinger, but in most cases, the airbridgeis pushed into the coupler too far, allowing the airbridge to sit higher than it should. Take a look at your setup from the side to see what is the "high point" of the assembly. Also, make sure that no clamp screw is positioned so that its head is the highest point.
Did you swap the couplers and use the notched one from your stocker? Make sure that the notch lines up with the MAF properly...if I remember right it will solve your problem. Can't look right now mine is in storage at my parents for the winter!
