Needing new tires for a Black 2003 C5 coupe soon. Thought I would take the opertunity to reaserch possible new wheels. Wish to stay with run flats. Other than Cray wheels doesnt look like a big selection out there for run flat sizes. Would like to find some more custom wheels to mull over before settling with my stock. Kindly looking for suggestions to consider.
Do a search on the CF. Hundreds of treads showing wheels.
I purchased some CCW 505a's recently and love them (do a search on ccw 505a). Kind of expensive but worth it IMO. Lots of factory knock offs (c5/c6 rims) for reasonable prices. Also check out Mid America Motor Works, Ecklers and Corvette Central as well.
I researched for a year or more before I decided to go with one of the best. 1st think you have to decide is your budget.
Like the guy said if you like 3 piece forged stuff and have money to spend you should be able to find a center pattern you like. I personally like some of the HRE 840 series for the smooth look of the hidden hardware. The forged wheels are going to be painfully expensive.
Another favorite of mine is the SSR GT7. They dont make this wheel anymore but one day the planets are going to align and I will own a set. I have seen them occasionally in the for sale section but most are chewed up. I think they made reasonably priced track wheels.
LG Motorsports has a couple as well that are less expesive (cast I believe) but unique. Good luck as long as you dont find the SSR's.
--Edit-- Jeep I just noticed you were in fayettenam. Looks like you tuned your car with a handheld programmer. I guess there aren't any shops around here for these cars that you know of are there?

Nope, I looked around for one about years ago and unless there is someone new (which Im sure they don't have much experience with vettes yet) the closest one was OK City and they were around $500. I only have a few bolt on mods so I really could not justify that and I have heard of good results with Predator tuner esp. with an auto tranny. I am very happy with my results and would do it again. I was able to find extensive tweaking tips on a couple of different LSX sites and the CF.
I still have the painted wagon wheels. I cant find a wheel in stock size I want either. Good luck in your search.
All of the tire places i have checked tell me that run flat sizes are going to remain at 17" and 18" rims to fit the C5. Do not whant to get to exotic so will keep looking for wheels with those perameters. Thanks for the help.

TLEE, I noticed you are also a fellow Washingtonian. I don't know if you are aware of this but there's a Pacific Northwest forum here as well. Check it out.
