I have 2000 m6 coupe with about 52,000 on it. i have a knocking noise coming from what sounds like the front of the motor.. i hear it sometimes at idle but not usally.. most noticable on decel from a light rev.. its like 3 or 4 pecks then its gone it doesnt seam to do it on the rev up or on the way down just at the bottom of the rpm just befor idle.. im thinking may a balancer or something like that.. noise sounds like its coming from somewhere below the tb almost.
