Apparently a computer problem has caused the passenger side window to stay down. I can't locate a fuse for it- none is listed on the fuse box diagram. I took off the door panel assuming I could just reach in and lift the window up but it won't budge. How can I get the window up until I can afford to take it to a shop to get it fixed?

A quick check might be to inspect the accordion bellows between the door and the "jamb" sometimes there will be a short there which causes many a malfunction. You might be able to grab and jiggle the wiring and the window might go up... If so, that's the place to fix it. Look for a wire grounding when it's not suppose to. good luck. Do a search on window problems and you'll find lots of checks to do as regards the solenoids. hope this helps.

Thanks but I already tried that. I know it's a computer problem because of other things going haywire too. I just need a way to get the window up manually for now until I can get it fixed permanently.
The drive system is designed where the window will pretty much stay where the motor stopped. The gearing is such that you will not move the window without turning the motor. If you cannot tap on the motor and get it to work, you may have to cut the cables, move the window up, and replace the drive assembly when you get the problem fixed. If you are sure the problem is not in the motor, I would try to avoid having to replace the window regulator assembly. It is easy to do, but cost about $400.
