TPIS response to header failures
Below is my email to TPIS and their response:
I'm having my '02 C5 modified at MTI w/ their Heads and Cam package. They recommend your headers, however, a large number of the Corvette Forum's members have had problems w/ welds cracking on your headers. Has this been corrected? Your comments please.

yesm, I have redesigned the emmission connecttion. this has cured the problem.

I read a couple of posts back in December about the 2000 production headers correcting the cracking problem by creating a bend in the matierial where the previous cracks had occured.
With no failures reported since then and the recommendations from reputable folks like MTI and L.A.P.D., I bought a pair last December and I am finally getting them put on tomorrow :yesnod: .
