If you note the differences in features, installation time, and price, you'll quickly realize that the Window Valet is priced to sell at $129.99. Thanks for pointing this out, EHS.
Hmmm, not looking too good for the GP I guess. :(

I bought it at the regular price.

It's priced so fairly, is such a quality product, and the customer service is so great, offering a group discount would only cheapen the product.

It's already a good deal as it is.
Cheapen the product? Ya, I sure wouldn't buy that cheap window valet if he sold it at a reduced GP rate of say $114.95.

DavsY2k:

Just curious, how did you arrive at $114.95? If I remember correctly, the Window Commander sold for $175-$225 (discounted!), plus a PIA install (you had to remove the door panels). If you didn't want to tear apart the doors and wiring yourself, add another $60+ for labor, making the total about $235-$275 installed. And then it screwed up the key fob reprogramming.

The Window Valet is priced at $129. It does everything and more that the Window Commander did, is at most a 30 second install that doesn't require any tools, it's easily reversible -- without tearing into the door panels coming or going, and the customer service can't be beat.

So why not recognize a superior product, the fact that the C5 market isn't all that large to begin with, and that the manufacturer needs to recover his costs and design time, never mind make a fair profit. Plus, TopDownTech is now supporting the forum, which you (and I) continue to take advantage of for free. That also costs them money, every month -- even if they don't sell a single unit. Sounds to me I "misstated" above, it's not the product that's cheap. :cry

I think Michael has this thing incredibly well priced -- 1/2 the price of the competing product -- which BTW, is no longer available. If it makes you feel better, I'll be glad to sell you mine for $150 + shipping -- that's a whopping 20%-50% off the old Window Commander pricing. Over half off, -- now, I know that's the kind of a deal you can't resist

"C'mon Shelley," recognize a good (and fair) deal when you see it, go buy one, and don't be so chea...

Good Product :yesnod:
Customer Service is also excellent. The company called the same day to make sure I didn't mistakenly ordered a second unit.

C5NBM

Its a great product. I use mine everyday to roll down the windows in my one car garage to get in. Tight fit and with the window out of the way it leaves me with more room. My son no longer almost breaks the door latch trying to get out of the car before I pull the key. Its also great for lowing the windows before you close the back hatch if you have a coupe.

It becomes a nice feature quick and you start to wonder my its not standard with your car.

I think this is the best mod I've made to the car. Best becasue it works as advertised, beyond all expectations, and is something the car should have had all along.

I haven't heard a single bad report about this product.

I bought one and really like it. I also had a minor issue/question about my drivers side window which Michael was quite helpful and responsive about.

I highly recommend this product.
