Default C6Z brakes question

Hey guys if I get calipers and rotors from a C6Z will they just bolt up to my C5Z? Or is there a bracket that I need to make it work...

Depends more on the wheels you have. The Rotors are a bigger diameter and will hit the wheel barrel or the spokes.

Now the real bad news the PADLETS 6 per front caliper and 4 per rear, 20 total. That isn't the only BAD part. The cost +- 700.00 for a set of OEM padlets. If you road race or use them hard, they wearout SUPER fast. Currently no aftermarket one piece street pads are made.

Wilwood or G-Stop are a better choice for me.

Yep, they will bolt right on. No brackets are needed. I think some people are running rear C5Z wheels all around to get the clearance needed.

Brakes are a bolt on but, 17" wheels will not clear the larger rotors on the front. You will need 18" or bigger. Also you will need more offset on the front only as the C6Z06 calipers are wider than the C5's. There are a ton of posts on this-do a search.

Wrong. Carbotech makes 1-piece pads.
