99 exhaust options

99 exhaust options
I am looking at a 99 convertible and the dealer tells me it has a factory exhaust that was a upgrade option. Sounds a little fishy to me.
It does look like a stock item. Was there a option for a freeflow exhaust in 99?

Look under the car at the mufflers.Most mufflers have the name brand stamped into the material.I would take a mirror with me and place the mirror under the mufflersand take a peek. with the muffler you won't have to crawl under the car and get dirty. :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy (stars and stripes forever)

The only thing that I can think of is that the salesman was confused about model years and is thinking of the Corsa exhaust that came on the pace cars in 98'. But, that is still the salesman showing his ignorance. :yesnod:
