Help. Security Ghost / Battery problems
Went to start '99 3 weeks ago after sitting for a month. Dead battery. Bought new battery, car started no problems. Forgot to reprogram key fobs. One week went buy went to start, battery drained. Jumped started , no problem. Programmed key fobs. Now the fun starts. As I am waliking away the horn sounds, after about 2 minutes, and the door unlocks and the interior lights come on. I relock and the same thing happens and continues to happend every 45 seconds or so. If left unlocked it will "unlock", lights come on, and the horm sounds. I have disconected the battery. Have read sticky but cannot find specifics addressing this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Turn off the passive function on the fobs. You may have to cycle that switch several times as dust will get into it from your pockets and so on, which will make the electrical connection anyway even if its turned off, activating that function.
