Default Help-- seat problem I can't understand

Got this problem with the sport seat. It will go back and forth the back will go up and down but the front will only tilt down. It won't raise up. I changed the adjuster on the side and it didn't fix it. I was wondering if there could be a fuse that can cause this problem.

check under the seat. There will be a white molded sleeve that bolts into the adjuster for front up and down motion. There is also one towards the rear of the seat for up and down of back cushion. You may want to check to see if the white plastic sleeve has cracked. This will cause the screw drive to just spin and not push up the adjustment.

Only way to fix is either replace the white sleeve or repair.

The problem is that the motor doesn't run when you pull up on the adjuster. The motor will run when you press down. I even tried a different motor and it did the same thing. It seems that it is not getting power in the up position. Very confusing.

Try using the switch from the other seat, maybe you have a bad contact. If that does not work pull the seat and check the wiring and motor contacts.

Any chance you can give me the part number for the sleeve that raises and lowers the back of the cushion. THANKS

You can not buy the sleeves seperatly from the dealer. You'll need a new seat rail or post up a WTB thread looking for parts.
