Pinking Noise
I have a 2001 Conv.bought it used from dealership all i know about it
is that the previous owner put cam in, it runs great real fast my problem
is i here a pinking type noise sometimes when i get on it. any help

Sorry about that......
If you're referring to pinging (detonation) then it MIGHT not be properly tuned, and have a little too much timing
If you're referring to a "sewing machine" sound (which you mainly only hear at low rpms) that is the sound of a LSX cammed engine
Either way, I would take it to a tuner and make sure it has the proper tune and have him check all the codes while he's at it. It would be money well spent
