Engine stalls
Hey guys I need some help....I am new to the site and must say ya'll are great. Ive got a 1998 stock C5. Car runs great, but when I go to crank it for the first time it fires up and stalls out...crank it again, fires up and stalls out....then on the third time it will crank and stay running. It runs smooth, doesnt stall out when driving, no hesitation or surging. It happens no matter when you start the car....when its cold...when its hot...first thing in morning...or even when you been on the road for hours and stop...I ran a check on the codes, and nothing showed up for anything current. And actually no codes related to the stalling. Any ideas out there??? And guys take it easy, Im used to working on my 78, so any and all help is appreciated.
