I installed a ported WCC TB on my C5 today. I also installed a K&N FIPK2, MAF, and TB Bypass. After I started her up and went for a drive I got a "reduced engine power" warning followed by a "service A/H" and "service TC". When I autotapped to get the code I got several "P1514 Throttle Body Performance" error code. Now, I'm just assuming at this point that its the WCC TB based on that error. I'm gonna put the stock TB back on and see if it still happens but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and/or there is something special I need to do with the installation of a new TB...or if it is just bad? :cry
My guess would be a TPS funny, either at the connector or maybe the adjustment at the shaft. I think I remember seeing a similar post over at ls1tech.com not too long ago. You might do a search over there.
This may reflect a problem with the throttle position sensor. If closed and wide open voltages are incorrect, and cannot be fixed, you'll get exactly this error.
I had this problem while we were building my setup. The TPS voltages were way off on the ported tb I was using. Obtained a ported/polished and VERIFIED TB from LPE and the problem went away.
