Problem: Plastic ring around ignition switch
I had to remove the driver side dash and when I put it back together, the ignition switch is binding.........have taken the dash apart many times over the last 10 years...........never this problem! The switch works, just very tight.

Last month when I had my lower panel off under the steering column my ign key switch starting binding afterwards. I took the panel back off and found the switch cover surround had moved off center a little bit in the recess in there and was making it bind a little bit.
