when i first got my 2000 coupe the dual climate control didnt work. didnt care much, but now as the warmer months come for some reason the a/c is stuck blowing in the face and at the feet. i can change it on the climate control, but it does not change the air flow. this happen to anyone else? any ideas/fixes? thanks
Sounds like the vaccum lines after the ac actuator might be broken if you are trying to change the blower settings and it won't switch. If you search around you can find some threads with the vaccum diagram of how it's setup in the passenger front fender.
The doors that direct airflow are actuated by vac source from the back of the intake manifold. Follow that vac line down past the battery (under battery tray) and you'll find where all those lines hook up. Check for cracks or breaks. At least, that's where I'd start. Good luck.
