Hitting bump causing CE for O2 sensors?
There didn't seem to be any outside damage, but then the CE came on and the codes that were read were for the O2 sensors before and after the cats.
We changed out the battery for other reasons, to a 78 from a 75, which must have reset something, since the CE light went off. It was off for quite a bit of driving until we went over rather bumpy railroad tracks- though slowly, and the CE came on immediately, and is reading the same codes-
I am not convinced that the problem is the cats, though it may be- I think something else may be loose related to the cats or sensors.
In first when taking off you can hear a small vibration in the exhaust.
Any thoughts?
