Default Rear Seal Leak

I got a question about rear seal leaks. Is there any oil additive that will slow down or stop a rear seal leak? I've got a "98" with an annoying three or four drop leak a week. I got over 131,000 miles and I should be happy, but I've just dumped a bunch into a "86" rebulid and I'd like to pospone the rebuild on the "98" till next year. I'm not really into stop leak additives and I don't use anything that's not "natural" in my cars, but if there's something out there I'd like to give it a try.

I will be fixing mine when it comes out of storage. Talk to gene culley and he will set you up with the parts...and at a good price. I was going to have it fixed at a shop till I read a post with great pics. I will do it myself for sure. it looks very easy and I do have the service manuals if I get stuck.

No magic in a bottle. You need to repair it. You probably already knew that

Sadly the seal needs replacing. No magic cure for leaks without risking more problems

Find a procedure with pics. its a really easy job and cheap to do. Even on jackstands, in a gravel driveway, its an easy job. I promise ya!

Thanks for the help. I knew there wasn't a magic fix, but I thought I'd ask.
