4 piston front brake packages???
Also Brembo, Alcon, SSBC, and probably others like Performance Fricton make a 4 piston setup.
Depending on your application the 6 piston generally gives you a little better endurance or life on your pads and rotors (I've been told).
1) 6-piston is generally able to provide better pad wear characteristics (assuming the pistons are properly sized sequentially and it's not using individual "padlets".)
2) Clamping force is a factor of piston volume and line pressure, meaning that it doesn't matter whether it is 4, 6, 8 or 10 pistons. The clamping force will be equal if the overall volume is equal.
With that said, there are still benefits to a 4-piston caliper such as better wheel fitment, and as you mentioned, usually better weight savings.
Brembo does in fact offer 2 different 4-piston options for the C5 Corvette, one with 1pc. 14" discs and another with 2pc. fully floating disc assemblies. Quality wise you will not find a better option period. Performance wise, these systems are amazing, great pedal feel, lots of braking power, incredible modulation, and also the best longevity in terms of pads and rotor life (compared to any other 4-piston options available).

Available in Red, Black or Silver calipers.
Drilled or Slotted rotors.

If you have the wheel sizes that allow for it, the 6-piston systems we offer are hands down the best performing options available. You get everything mentioned for the 4-piston systems, PLUS even better pad and rotor life due to the larger pad area and volume.
You can't go wrong with any of the Brembo options, as they are all properly engineered for the application. The quality of the individual components is the highest level availabel which means you won't have to do things like safety wire the rotor hardware, replace hats or brackets if they show wear or actually fail, and you won't need to rebuild your calipers as typical maintenance.
There's tons of Brembo users on this forum and also many authorized dealers that sponsor this forum. If you do a few searches you will find a lot of people running the products themselves and you can get first hand opinions and references. No need to just take my word for it.
