Many threads on this, should find with a search. Don't waste your $$ on a kit.
Cut the front bushings and buy longer Grade 8 bolts for the rear at a fastener shop.
I've read that cutting the stock bushings results in a very harsh ride.
I wonder how those bump-steer kits work, but regarding ZIP, I've bought many things from them when I had my 68 and they have always been a great company to work with.

I have the bump steer kit but have not installed it because it requires a very special 4 wheel alignment rack with "movable tables" and loads must be put on different locations with a come along during the alignment.I dont know of any shops with that kind of equipment in Knoxville.Anybody else put one on and how did it go?
We manufacture our own lowering kits and the pads are made to our specifications by a very well known polyurethane bushing company. The bushings are the same poly that is used in the control arm bushings. I used to cut the original's also but we found a better way to do it, cutting all of the bushings off will result in control arm damage. The lowering bolt is made of steel and the lower control arm is aluminum so you can see where these will not wear very well together.
Thanks
Justin

Needing this special rack is not totally necessary. You can bumpsteer your car if you take your time with a nice flat surface and a bumpsteer gauge. I do not recommend doing it if you do not understand bumpsteer though.
well i ordered the kit a few days ago i cant wait to slam the vette the stock bolts just dont get her down enough. great price for them too one of the cheapest kits available

You mean "lowest priced" These are definitely not "cheap."
