The MSD and GM wires work just fine. Both are available in red.

I like the Taylor wires. You can get from Summit Racing. Available in lots of colors.
I like either Red or Blue. Easy grip boot is nice.

Default GM wires

Where can I buy the GM wires?
I called the dealer and they quoted me like $175
Taylors are $60 in stock at Seco's (Blue only)
Bosch are $70 at Autozones

GM Performance wires are Red. Save your money on aftermarket wires. The LS1 wires are so short you won't gain anything buying a high dollar wire. Contact Gene Culley here on the forum for a good deal on the GMPP wires.

As a heads up you will destroy your current wires removing them. Removing them will also be a four letter word project. Buy a tube of dielectric silicone for the reinstall. Makes removal easier in the future.

I bought the best NAPA had, 1/2 the resistance of stock GM wires and guaranteed for life.

Yeah, call Gene at GMPartshouse, GMPP wires are around 60 bucks:
Gene's part # aand price:
12495519 – GMPP red spark plug wire set – 60.00
Be sure you use gloves as well or you'll add a couple knuckles to the cost.

The red GM wires will ohm out at around 700 ohm's of resistance. The MSD wires ohm out at around 26 ohm's of resistance.
