Catback Install...Can you use Jackstands
Looking to buy and install a catback system. Can you get the stock exhaust (muffler assembly) off using standard jackstands or do you need a lift to be able to get the pipe over the axle.

The answer is yes, and some on the Forum have done it. IMHO using jackstands limits the room available to jockey the old system out and the new system in. For myself and ease of install, I used a lift...made the job a piece of cake. Good luck with your install.....

Lots of folks have done this, some *cough* kewlbrz *cough* even have scary pics of it. Easy on just ramps if you cut the old pipes. ;)
