Another window problem 98 C5 hanging up Drivers side
I went to roll own my window today and it made some grinding sound and halfway tried to hang up on me. I rolled it up a little bit and rolled it down with no problem. What are the problems other people have encountered with these symptoms? There is nothing wrong with the window motor itself,it's working just fine, i think its the cable system that might be messed up. What do you think it might be?

Mine just started doing the same thing. I'm thinking that unless the motor gears are stripped - like what happens to the headlight motors - the cables must be boogered up.
I haven't pulled it apart yet.
I think there was a post a while back on sombody pulling the motor apart and cleaning it.
